Rudar 1903 – Radnički (Belgrade)
📅 Thursday, 11 December 2025 at 19:30
📍 Bobana Momčilović Veličković Sports Center, Bor
One of the most important matches in the club’s history so far is ahead of our team. In the Round of 16 of the Milan Ciga Vasojević Cup, Rudar 1903 hosts Radnički from Belgrade, a member of the First Women’s League of Serbia and one of the most experienced teams in the country’s top division.
Our girls have shown character, fighting spirit, and a desire to improve in the first part of the season, and the clash against Radnički is a chance to test themselves at a higher level. The quality of the opponent is unquestionable, but home court, crowd support, and motivation all play a big role — especially in cup games, where anything can happen in a single night.
This will also be an opportunity for our players to compete against a rival from the highest level of competition, which makes the occasion even more special.
Radnički competes this season in the First Women’s League of Serbia, a league that includes Crvena zvezda, Partizan 1953, Mega Superbet, and other top clubs in Serbian women’s basketball. The team has quality, experience, and depth, making it one of the most demanding opponents Rudar has faced in recent seasons.
Still — the cup is different. The favorite is never guaranteed to win in advance.
The game in Bor will be a test of character and ambition, and the winner will secure a place among the best eight teams in the competition. A great atmosphere is expected in the stands, and fan support could be the decisive factor.
We invite all basketball lovers, Rudar supporters, and the people of Bor to come to the hall in large numbers and support our team in this historic challenge.
Your energy will be the wind at our backs — together to the quarterfinals!
